Every coach makes mistakes, and I’m no different.
When I started coaching over 16 years ago, I quickly realized two things:
1 – My athletes loved training their core, and
2 – That core training (if done correctly) could improve their performance.
And while my athletes loved the fact that I included a ton of core training exercises in their program, I was doing things totally wrong.
I chose the wrong exercises.
I programmed them in a totally random fashion.
And the worst part was, I wasn’t even coaching the exercises correctly!
So if we’re being honest and transparent here, I feel like I’ve made damn near every mistake in the book.
But if you know anything about me, you know I’m about as stubborn as they come, and I’m never willing to leave “good enough” alone.
I wanted to have better answers.
I wanted to get consistently great results with every client and athlete I trained.
And I wasn’t going to stop until I had a system in place that could help me get better results!
